Santa Rosa Co., FL (February 5, 2025) – Officials with the Florida Highway Patrol are currently investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred in Navarre on Tuesday morning, February 4. One man lost his life and another was seriously injured in the collision that happened on Navarre Parkway near Edgewood Drive.
Reports show a man from Panama City, age 33, was traveling in the inside lane of the Parkway when he was involved in a crash with a vehicle operated by a 68-year-old Milton man. The westbound lanes of the Navarre Parkway were shut down for several hours while responders worked at the scene. The 33-year-old driver lost his life at the crash scene due to the extent of his injuries. The other man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Police in Santa Rosa County continue to investigate the details of the accident.
