Florida Car Accidents
The state of Florida sees hundreds of thousands of crashes per year. It is one of the top three states in the nation with the most reported auto accidents. On average, over 400,000 vehicle collisions are reported in the Sunshine State per year that injure hundreds of thousands of people. Sadly, over 3,000 people lose their lives in these wrecks per year.
Across the nation, over 6 million car crashes happen annually. These accidents cause over 3 million people to sustain injuries and around 40,000 to lose their lives. Unfortunately, over 5 million of the collisions reported in the US yearly are caused by negligent drivers. At this time, the most common form of negligent driving seen on American roadways is distraction. When drivers operate their vehicles while engaging in dangerous and careless behaviors, they often cause accidents that end in injuries and fatalities for those involved.
