Florida Auto Accidents
Florida experiences an alarmingly high number of car accidents—over 1,000 collisions occur each day across the state. While these crashes can happen for many reasons, negligent driving remains the leading cause. Each year, hundreds of thousands of Floridians are injured, and thousands lose their lives in traffic accidents. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), negligence is a factor in roughly 80% of all reported crashes.
The aftermath of a serious car crash can be overwhelming. Those who sustain severe injuries often face prolonged hospital stays, costly treatments, and months of physical and emotional recovery. Medical expenses alone can quickly reach into the tens of thousands of dollars, not to mention the burden of lost income and vehicle damage.
That’s where an experienced auto accident attorney can make a difference. If your accident was caused by another driver’s carelessness, you may be entitled to financial compensation to help cover your expenses. An attorney can fight on your behalf to recover damages for your medical bills, repair costs, missed work, pain and suffering, and more.
