
Cooper City, FL (October 4, 2024) – A woman lost her life after a car accident in Cooper City. Reports show the incident happened on Wednesday morning, October 2. Fire rescue and deputies went to the scene located on Griffin Road near Southwest 90th Avenue at around 6:00 a.m. after receiving reports of the incident. Reports show the vehicle veered from the road, struck a raised concrete sidewalk, and collided with the wall of a small bridge before going airborne and into the water below. D
ivers searched the canal and found the vehicle, which was still occupied by Caitlynn Heron, age 23. She was pronounced deceased on-site. One individual who was inside the vehicle at the time of the wreck was able to make it out and survive with non-life-threatening injuries. Police in Cooper City continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
