Volusia Co., FL (November 27, 2024) – A traffic accident with injuries was reported to police in Volusia County on November 27. Reports show the collision involved seven vehicles, including two semi-trucks, on Interstate 4 near mile marker 112. The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a semi-truck failed to slow down for stopped traffic just before 5:00 a.m. This caused a chain-reaction crash involving several vehicles. Four people were taken to the hospital, police said. Multiple responders blocked the roadway for some time on Wednesday morning, and local drivers were stuck in traffic for an extended period.
