Sun City Ctr, FL (April 2, 2025) – Police in Sun City Center are currently investigating a fatal collision involving a golf cart and a truck that occurred in southern Hillsborough County on Wednesday. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene shortly after 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Sun City Center Boulevard and North Pebble Beach Boulevard.
Reports show that a 31-year-old man from Tampa was operating a Ram ProMaster on State Route 674 when he ran a red light at the intersection of State Route 674 and Pebble Beach Boulevard. Police say the man struck a Sun City Center Woman operating a Yamaha golf cart at a green traffic signal. The victim lost her life due to the nature of her injuries. Police in Sun City Center continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
