Pembroke Pines, FL (February 15, 2025) – One person lost their life and five others were sent to the hospital after a violent traffic accident in Pembroke Pines. Northwest 12th Street was closed for several hours after the incident to allow police and paramedics to work at the scene. Reports show the wreck occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Friday, February 14, when multiple vehicles collided on 12th Street near Dykes Road.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene by first responders. At this time, the identity of the victim has not been reported. Five others were reportedly transported to the hospital with injuries. At this time, the victims have not been identified. Officers believe speed to be a contributing factor in causing the accident. Police in Pembroke Pines continue to investigate the details of the collision.
