Orlando, FL (October 8, 2024) – A woman lost her life in a multi-vehicle collision in Orange County. Information provided by the Florida Highway Patrol shows that a Kia Forte was headed south on John Young Parkway near the Destination Parkway when the driver failed to stop. The Kia then rear-ended a Toyota Corolla that was at a red light. The force of the impact pushed the Toyota into the rear of another vehicle in front of it.
The 50-year-old female driver of the Kia was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Two other drivers and a passenger inside the third vehicle were not injured and remained at the crash scene. Police continue to investigate the details of the incident.
We want to offer our sincere condolences to the deceased victim’s family.
Florida Traffic Accidents
The state of Florida is one of the most dangerous states when it comes to driving. Florida, California, and Texas are the top three states in the country with the most yearly auto accidents. Florida sees hundreds of thousands of car accidents per year that end in injuries. Hundreds of thousands of people are hurt in these wrecks annually and thousands more end up losing their lives. Across the nation, over 6 million auto collisions take place annually, which injure around 3 million people and take the lives of over 40,000 people per year.
Suffering serious injuries in a car wreck is no joke and can land you in the hospital for a prolonged time. You may have to undergo invasive medical care in order to recover from your injuries, which can be exhausting, expensive, and stressful. You may also have to miss much-needed time at work or time spent with your loved ones, which can be extremely difficult to deal with. All of this combined can create a situation that is too tough to face on your own. Working with a lawyer may be your saving grace after you were hurt in a severe traffic accident.
