Orange County, FL (September 25, 2024) – A woman from Melbourne lost her life when her vehicle was involved in a collision with a semi-truck.
Sources say the accident happened on State Road 520 in Orange County at around 6:15 a.m. on September 23. Due to the presence of EMS and police on the road, the northbound lanes of the state highway were blocked just south of the State Route 528 interchange where the accident occurred. Police say the woman was driving a 2014 Honda Civic when she was involved in a wreck with the Mack Semi. She was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.
