Ocala, FL (February 10, 2025) – The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal traffic accident in Ocala on Saturday, February 8. Reports show the wreck happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Interstate 75 near US-27 when a man from Booker was struck by a vehicle.
The victim was identified as a 44-year-old from Booker who was outside his vehicle at the time of the accident. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding medical professionals.
