Florida Motorcycle Accidents
Due to the beautiful weather year-round and the many events centered around motorcycles and their riders, motorcycle accidents in Florida are highly common.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, almost 600 people lost their lives due to motorcycle accidents in Florida in 2022 in over 10,000 motorcycle accidents that occurred that year. That same year, Florida was ranked the state with the highest rate of motorcycle fatalities in the United States.
Just like other vehicle-related accidents, motorcycle accidents can be caused by several factors. These factors include but are not limited to intoxication, negligence, fatigue, and distracted driving, such as texting while driving. Negligent driving has become one of the most common reasons people in the US suffer serious injuries or even lose their lives. In fact, over 94% of reported traffic accidents in the US are caused by negligent driving.
Being seriously injured in an accident of any kind is not only painful and scary but can also be overwhelmingly difficult in many ways. Victims of car accidents deserve to get the help that they need to recover and get back to their preferred way of life before their accident.
