Florida Pedestrian Accidents
Car crashes happen at an alarming rate in Florida, with more than 1,000 accidents reported every day. Per year, the Sunshine State sees over 400,000 traffic collisions that injure hundreds of thousands of people and take the lives of thousands more.
Pedestrian crashes are, unfortunately, more common in Florida than in many other states. This is mostly due to the large population and nice weather year-round. Florida sees an average of approximately 750 pedestrian deaths per year, which underlines the alarming nature of this problem.
If you or a loved one has recently been hurt in a pedestrian crash, you may be wondering how you will recover. Suffering from physical injuries while worrying about the financial aspect of your accident could feel overwhelming. The aftermath of a serious accident can be stressful, leading to forced time off of work, lengthy hospital stays, and emotional trauma.
Depending on the details of your situation, you may be eligible for financial compensation that can help you pay for the damages you have endured related to your accident. Working with a car crash attorney can be a step toward a successful financial recovery. A skilled attorney can evaluate your case and identify who or what was responsible for the accident. If a negligent driver caused your wreck, you could be entitled to compensation for vehicle repairs, medical bills, and more through a personal injury claim.
