Miami-Dade, FL (September 26, 2024) – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Miami-Dade on the afternoon of September 26. At approximately 2:27 p.m., the incident occurred in the 3600 block of Thomas Avenue. First responders were promptly dispatched to the scene to help the injured victim after the accident. At this time, the cause of the incident has not been reported. Police in Miami-Dade are working to determine how the wreck occurred. The roadway was closed while emergency crews worked at the scene, forcing local motorists to use alternate routes.
