Jacksonville, FL (October 26, 2024) – All lanes of an interstate in Jacksonville were closed on Friday afternoon, October 25, after a traffic accident with injuries.
Police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:15 p.m. to help the people involved in the wreck. Sources say the incident occurred on Interstate 95 near Kings Road when an unspecified number of vehicles collided. The Florida Highway Patrol remained at the crash scene for some time on Friday while they worked to investigate the details of the wreck. Paramedics rendered emergency medical aid to those with injuries before transporting seriously injured patients to area hospitals. At this time, those involved have not been identified, and local police continue to investigate the incident.
