Immokalee, FL (November 7, 2024) – Police in Collier County are currently investigating the circumstances of a fatal traffic accident on State Route 29. Troopers responded to the scene north of Immokalee at approximately 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 7.
One person reportedly lost their life in the collision. At this time, the victim has not been identified. Lanes were closed along SR-29 while emergency crews worked in the area, and local motorists were asked to use different routes. Police continue to investigate the causes of the wreck.
