Hillsborough Co., FL (September 24, 2024) – At approximately 10:51 p.m. on September 24, a serious car wreck occurred in Hillsborough County. Vehicles crashed on Interstate 75 North just beyond State Route 60, causing at least one person to sustain injuries.
Emergency responders were sent to the crash site shortly after the accident occurred in order to help those involved. Individuals with serious injuries were transported to an area hospital by ambulance. The names of the involved parties were not immediately released, as police continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the wreck. Two right lanes of the interstate were closed while crews worked in the area, and local motorists were asked to utilize different travel routes.
