Glades County, FL (September 21, 2024) – A teenager lost their life after a hit-and-run collision that happened in Glades County. Sources say the incident occurred on Saturday morning, September 21. The Florida Highway Patrol reports the pedestrian, age 19, was hit by a second vehicle after an initial collision on Boar Hammock Ranch Road. Police report troopers responded to the scene at approximately 4:30 a.m. A roadblock occurred along northbound US-27 due to the incident. Police in Glades County continue to investigate.
