Fort Lauderdale, FL (December 16, 2024) – A bicyclist lost their life in a hit-and-run collision in Fort Lauderdale on December 14. The crash took place in the 2000 block of West Davie Boulevard at approximately 6:08 a.m. Police and paramedics responded to the scene, where they found a crash involving a bicyclist and a vehicle. The victim was transported to the hospital by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue, where he was later pronounced deceased. At this time, his name has not been reported. The vehicle involved fled the scene after the accident without stopping to render aid. Police in Fort Lauderdale continue to investigate.
