Bradenton, FL (February 21, 2025) – A woman lost her life in a pedestrian crash in Bradenton on Friday morning, February 21. At approximately 5:30 a.m., the 85-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle after she fell in the middle of Woodlawn Drive.
Police reported that another woman, age 60, was headed west on Woodlawn Drive in a Hyundai Sonata when she turned right onto Wildwood Springs Boulevard and struck the female pedestrian. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by Manatee County EMS. Officers say the driver sustained no injuries in the crash. Police in Bradenton continue to investigate the details of the collision.
