
Titusville, FL (April 1, 2025) – A driver is facing several charges of DUI after he fatally struck a man attempting to cross a street in Titusville. The accident occurred shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the intersection of Columbia Boulevard and Windover Trail as the pedestrian headed north in a crosswalk while heading back to his job at Walmart, police said.
The pickup truck was operated by 28-year-old Dallas Scott Weed, who was driving west on Columbia Boulevard when the collision occurred. The man who was hit was transported to a hospital, where he later lost his life at approximately 4:00 p.m. Police in Titusville continue to investigate the details of the collision.
