Florida Traffic Collisions
According to A Safer Florida, the Sunshine State has one of the highest crash rates in the nation. This unfortunate distinction can be partly attributed to Florida’s large population, which contributes to a higher number of accidents. With a growing number of residents and visitors on the roads, the risk of pedestrian accidents remains elevated.
Recent data reveals a troubling trend: between 2010 and 2021, car accident fatalities across the United States have been steadily rising. In 2021 alone, over 42,000 people lost their lives in traffic collisions in the United States. In Florida specifically, more than 3,000 people lost their lives in auto accidents that year.
Recovering from car accident injuries often requires extensive medical treatment, rehabilitation, and a significant period of adjustment, placing a tremendous burden on the victims and their families.
