Sources say the wreck occurred at around 7:35 p.m. when a low-speed vehicle and a car collided on Town Park Avenue. Multiple responders were observed helping the involved parties near Southwest Traditional Parkway. Sources say the low-speed vehicle attempted to merge ahead of the car when the two collided. The driver was then ejected from the low-speed vehicle, causing him to hit his head on the street. The man was air-lifted to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, where he was treated for serious head injuries. The entrance to Town Park was closed while emergency responders worked in the area.
