Orlando, FL (September 25, 2024) – One person lost their life and three others were hurt in a collision that happened in Orlando on Tuesday, September 24. At approximately 5:00 p.m., the incident took place on Citrus Way near Kensington Road. The Florida Highway Patrol reports that an 18-year-old man was headed north on Citrus Way in a Hyundai Elantra when he was involved in a wreck with a Hyundai Accent. A passenger present in the Accent at the time, identified as a woman from Weeki Wachee, age 47, was transported to the hospital where she later lost her life. The Accent’s driver, a boy, age 17, also from Weeki Wachee, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The 18-year-old man from Orlando and his 15-year-old male passenger were transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Police in Orlando continue to investigate.
