Orange Co., FL (December 26, 2024) – A woman lost her life in a head-on accident on December 24 in Orange County. Information provided by the Florida Highway Patrol shows it happened at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Orange Blossom Trail and Wadsworth Road. A 2008 Kia Optima was headed north on Orange Blossom Trail when it collided with a 2013 Audi Q3. The driver of the Kia headed the wrong way was a 39-year-old male from Orlando. He was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The Audi driver, a woman from Eustis, age 62, lost her life in the accident. Their names have not been reported. Police in Orange County continue to investigate.
