Ocoee, FL (September 22, 2024) – A pedestrian lost their life in a collision in Ocoee on Saturday, September 21. At approximately 10:44 p.m., the accident happened on Ocoee Apopka Road near Demastus Lane. Information provided by the Florida Highway Patrol shows the pedestrian, identified as a man from Ocoee, age 25, was struck in the southbound lane of the road. EMS pronounced the man deceased at the crash scene. The vehicle that struck the man reportedly fled the scene without stopping. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
