Nassau Co., FL (March 28, 2025) – A 59-year-old man walking on a roadway in Nassau County lost his life after he was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday night, March 26. The Florida Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred just after the man’s vehicle crashed at approximately 9:30 p.m.
The victim, a Crescent City resident, was struck by a pickup truck on US 301, near Ford Road. The man was then pushed into a semi that was headed west at the time. Police say the pedestrian had been involved in a collision on Ford Road just north of US 301 before he was hit. At this time, the man’s identity has not been reported. Law enforcement officials are investigating the incident.
