Florida Traffic Accidents
Car wrecks can happen at any time, for any reason. Florida is one of the most dangerous states in the nation when it comes to serious car accidents. Car wrecks happen in Florida over 1,000 times per day and cause injuries to hundreds of thousands of people per year. On average, more than 3,000 people are killed annually in Florida car accidents.
Those injured in auto accidents often have their lives severely impacted. Due to damages that usually result from car wrecks, like outstanding medical bills, vehicle repair costs, wage loss, and more, even small auto crashes can significantly affect the lives of victims. In terms of the costs related to car wrecks and the stress they bring about, they can quickly become overwhelming. If you don’t have legal representation, you run the risk of facing the situation on your own and missing out on financial compensation.
Frequently, auto crashes are caused by negligent driving. Negligent drivers engage in many dangerous behaviors, such as intoxication, distraction, fatigue, and speeding. Almost every single crash reported in the United States happens due to the actions of a negligent driver. Approximately 90-99% of American vehicle crashes are the result of careless driving. When you or a loved one suffers injuries in a negligently caused accident, you may be eligible to collect financial compensation for a wide array of damages that may have resulted from your wreck. The costs related to your injuries, as well as the costs related to vehicle repairs and wage loss, may be eligible to be compensated for. Other damages, as well as non-economic damages, may also be able to be covered.
You are entitled to financial compensation for your pain and suffering if you were wounded in an automobile accident anywhere in the state of Florida as a result of the carelessness of another driver. There is a significant chance that your injuries will cost you a fortune in medical bills. Your initial medical care could cost tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of dollars.
