Maitland, FL (November 14, 2024) – A pedestrian lost their life in a traffic accident in Maitland on Wednesday morning, November 13. Shortly before 9:00 a.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene of the crash at Lakewood Circle.
Preliminary reports show that a Kia Sportage was involved in a crash with an Orlando man, age 77. The pedestrian was transported to Advent Health in Altamonte Springs, where he was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the Sportage did not suffer any injuries. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
