LeHigh Acres, FL (February 23, 2025) – A pedestrian lost their life on Saturday morning, February 22, in a crash in LeHigh Acres. The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene of the accident on Lee Boulevard near Hannah Avenue North at approximately 5:00 a.m.
Police say an unknown vehicle was headed east on Lee Boulevard before colliding with the pedestrian. The vehicle then fled the scene without stopping to render aid or wait for authorities to arrive. A 60-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, his name has not been reported. Police in LeHigh Acres continue to investigate the details of the accident.
