Florida Car Wrecks
More than 400,000 vehicle accidents happen in the state of Florida every single year. On average, these wrecks injure over 150,000 people and take the lives of more than 3,000 people each year. The main cause of auto accidents in Florida is currently driver distraction, which is the main cause of car wrecks nationwide. Driver negligence causes more auto accidents in the United States than anything else. Speeding, intoxication, distraction, and fatigue are the four main causes of auto collisions throughout the country.
Throughout the United States, over 6 million car crashes are reported per year that cause injuries to well over 3 million people annually. The lives of tens of thousands are cut short due to the negligent actions of drivers. Drivers who choose to pay attention to their phones, the people in their car, the radio, and anything other than the road ahead of them and their immediate surroundings put themselves and others at serious risk.
Texting and driving have become a severe issue in the United States in the past decade. Millions of drivers choose to browse social media and send and receive text messages while operating moving vehicles. This is about as dangerous as it gets. A person who decides to text and drive is putting their life at serious risk, as well as anyone they encounter on the roadway. Someone who chooses to act this carelessly needs to be held accountable for their actions if they cause an injury or fatal accident.
