
Lake Co., FL (March 31, 2025) – The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred in Lake County on March 30. Three people lost their lives and a fourth suffered injuries in the collision that happened at approximately 3:15 a.m. on State Road 19 near St Florian Lane.
Police informed that a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee headed north failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and left the roadway. It then struck a pole and overturned several times. The driver, along with three passengers, were ejected from the vehicle during the accident. Authorities identified the driver as a woman from Mount Dora, age 30. She was pronounced deceased at the scene along with one passenger. Two other passengers were taken to the hospital, where one later lost their life. The fourth passenger is currently in critical condition. All three passengers were identified as women from Eustis in their 20s and 30s. Police in Lake County continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
