Escambia County, FL (September 20, 2024) – Three people lost their lives after a three-vehicle collision in Escambia County.
Reports from authorities show the crash occurred just after midnight on Friday, September 20, between a sedan and two motorcycles. According to reports, two men and a woman lost their lives as a result of the accident. The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a woman from Pensacola, age 42, turned left onto West Michigan Avenue from Clearwater Avenue directly in front of two motorcycles. Those bikes were operated by a 24-year-old man from Pace and a 22-year-old man from Pensacola. Both were headed west at the time of the crash. Both men were pronounced deceased on-site and the woman was transported to Baptist Hospital, where she was confirmed to have sustained fatal injuries. Police in Escambia County continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the wreck.
