Dade City, FL (February 16, 2025) – A fatal head-on collision in Dade City took one life and injured three others on Friday night, February 14. Reports show a 28-year-old Orlando man was traveling south on US-98 when he attempted to pass another car. That’s when his vehicle, identified as a Genesis GV80, was involved in a head-on crash with a Kia Soul operated by a man from Lakeland, age 51.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that the Lakeland man lost his life at the scene. Two individuals inside the Kia Soul were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
