
Columbia Co., FL (March 3, 2025) – A traffic accident involving a pedestrian turned fatal on Sunday, March 2 in Columbia County. Reports from authorities show the incident occurred at approximately 5:20 a.m. on State Route 100 near County Route 245A.
A pedestrian was reportedly standing outside a disabled vehicle when they were hit by a car. At this time, the victim has not been identified. They sustained injuries that ultimately took their life, police said. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries. Police in Columbia County continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash.
